Ashley Bonomo

My Approach

 

With a background in Exercise Science, plus certifications in 500-hour RYT, Personal Training, CPR/AED, and additional training in bodywork, cupping, nutrition, and assisted stretching, my teaching blends the power of modern science with the ancient wisdom of yoga.

 

I believe strength isn’t just physical—it’s the discipline to stay when you want to quit. The courage to try again. The awareness to move with intention instead of autopilot.

 

I created Sutras-CLB to offer something deeper than cookie-cutter yoga flows.

 

This is training for your body and your mind—designed to help you move better, feel stronger, and reconnect with who you truly are.

 

Whether you’re flowing through chaturanga or just trying to stay present in stillness—my goal is to help you feel empowered, aligned, and deeply at home in your body.

Hi, I’m Ashley—founder of Sutras-CLB.

By the time I found yoga, I’d already learned how to survive.

 

I’d been on my own since 17. Life required me to grow up fast—and for a long time, I didn’t feel strong. I felt disconnected from my body, unsure of myself, and unsure if anything could really change.

 

But one day, I pressed play on a beginner yoga video… and that 30-minute practice became the first moment I actually felt connected. It wasn’t just a workout—it was a doorway.

 

At first, I struggled to stay consistent. But every time I skipped, I felt like I was slipping back into the version of me I was trying to outgrow. So I committed to 30 days. Just 30 minutes a day. No excuses.

 

And that decision changed everything.

My strength began to build—from the inside out. I wasn’t just moving differently… I was thinking differently. Breathing differently. Eating, living, and seeing myself differently.

 

Yoga taught me how to return to myself. And eventually, it became the foundation for everything I now teach.

What I Want You to Know

 

You don’t have to be flexible. You don’t have to be spiritual. You don’t have to get it “right.” You just have to show up.

 

This isn’t about perfect poses or pushing through pain. It’s about remembering your strength—even when you forget.

 

It’s about building the kind of power that follows you off the mat and into everything you do.

 

And I’ll be right here to guide you—every step of the way.
